(Xavier's P.O.V.) It was strange, after mom died everything became so much brighter. the people were the worst, they shone so brightly it was hard to look at them. I thought all people were like this until of course i went to the orphanage and saw her. she did not shine, or glimmer, or even sparkle! most of the time she was in her room while the rest of us were downstairs or in the courtyard playing. from the courtyard you could see the window she looked out. at first i thought she was looking at the rest of us until one day i asked her about it and she wrote on a piece of paper that she "was trying to see the sea". i responded by telling he

it had been a while since i had looked out of a window because glass was a reflective surface but when i did what i saw disgusted me. The real world was a horrid place, i was perfectly fine living in my imagination where the accident had not happened, i had not been in the hospital, and i had certianly not been sent to an orphanage. but that one day changed every thing because that was the day he came to the orphanage.
